when returned for fall quarter, he told me, "it wouldn't be good for me to 'hang out' with him and his other Iranian friends anymore". two months later the embassy in Iran was seized and 55 U.S. hostages were taken. it was during that month, my old friend didn't come back to class. when i see this pic, i wonder if he's still alive and if so... what side is he fighting for??
